I have got to do another post on this weeks X Factor and the series so far!!
This week we had some really bad auditions and i felt so sorry the most for "The Stunners" you could even see it in thier supporters eyes that they realised they were bad, unfortunately this is "entertainment" as they call it hence why they got through in the first place. But can i say...is this fair??!! i mean its one thing having auditions throughout the land to get real talent...i am all for that but really is it neccessary to drag thorugh the downright cruddy to show to the world what rubbish singers we have in this country...i would like to say as a massive fan of the X Factor i would much prefer to watch talented people every week showing that they can sing and give a great performace. Why do they have to have most of them going through to this round absolutely terrible? it makes no sense to me.
A few years back i auditioned for the X Factor, I cant remember what year it was but i would say about 4 years ago. Anyway i was pants...theres no doubt about it i was atrocious but only because i was so terrified i froze totally forgot the words and was downright bad. It didnt help that i was among the last few of the day by this time it was 8 o'clock and i had been waiting since 1 to be seen...what was the point in applying and being given a time of 1 when they dont see anyone until i would say roughly 3 o'clock. Anyway by that time i had gone through in my head my audition millions of times and worked out the best song for me would be "Your House" by Alanis Morrisette. Great song and as it was accapella i thought fantastic as it would be just that anyway! This seemed to be the best option for me...errr no, i had over rehearsed in my head i think and just plain forgoten the words. Needless to say i didn't get through even the first round, basically i wasn't good or bad enough, the only thing you seem to need is confidence. I heard and saw so many people walk away with "sorry maybe next year" the only 1 i saw get through was a crazy women who didnt even know what show she was auditioning for....and yes i saw this woman on X Factor and she was...yes you guessed it RUBBISH so this poor lady thought...yeah im a good singer im through to the next round....did she know that she was to be ridiculed in front of the almighty judges...i doubt it.
So what did everyone think of Danyl??? i think he was absolutely fantastic and definately gonna make it all the way...there is no doubt in my mind he will be in the final 3 even at this early stage....i may even bet on it! So what was so appealing?? well personally I would say his personality, he seemed like a genuinily nice guy...and a teacher which is good...people always see teachers especially Primary teachers as "good" people and i would agree i think you have to be to do that proffession at all actually. Next his stage presents was amazing it was either that he had done it before or he was just born to be on the stage, and he just seemed to own it totally! There was only one concern i felt was it seemed a bit staged, if you know what i mean?? has anyone heard the rumour the Leona Lewis was basically staged to be there, she was uncovered and told to go to the audition...basically they knew she was a star way before she entered onto that big X on the floor!
Moving on to this week, Jamie Archer the man with the BIG hair...i love him probably more that Danyl maybe because he is not getting as much publicity but i felt his voice was just phenominal...i prefered his taste in music also and stage presence was again fantastic! He definately seemed more confident though and possibly a little cocky...but i think you need to be to do well anyway! I give him a massive thumbs up and hope he goes allllll the way to the final!!! although ive already predicted Danyl will do well this one i think will do well too...although maybe he is not as "mainstream" so may struggle to get voters!!
Well I have enjoyed talking X Factor if anyone has any comments or views i would love to hear them!!!

Tesco - what a palava!!!
Today was shopping day...always good fun with a bored 8 year old and a 4 month old baby. The only way to make it less tedious was to bribe my son with a chocolate bar if he didnt run off with the trolley and smack into the nearest OAP or worse a Chav...certainly don't need to be beaten up today...no thank you very much.
I did the classic pick up stuff that think i may need and work out the dinners at a later date, hopefully i can thorw some stuff together! i was far too tired today to do a list, had about 2 or 3 hours sleep last night and i just didnt need Tesco.
Is it me or do they employ the strangest of people...i mean some of them are okay but if you get one of those "im gonna throw your stuff down the belt at some ridiculous speed cashiers" then that in itself makes shopping the worst possible chore of the week! And then we decided to grab some lunch in there as the kids were whinging and i was still in lala land after my sleepless night, we had a normal kind of lunch but as its not particularly clear what the products are i asked the guy behind it all...can you beleive he didn't know!! He just stood there and shrugged his shoulders...oh my goodness me, i thought it was hard to get jobs these days...surely a few brain cells is a neccessity in any line of work!
Cor Tescos eh? they appear to be taking over the world yet some of thier staff definately need a good shake up. I think i may do it online next week...although that means planning!

MIchael Jackson - is he dead???
Michael Jackson all his life has been in the spotlight whether its with The Jackson Five and his cute smile, his solo career and his amazing dancing or all the court cases that plagued his life! There has been drama after drama, what with the confusion about his kids and if they really are his...and where is the mother/s?? strange set up if you ask me!
And now that this man has died and there is STILL huge amounts of media hype. Jacko has suffered with Skin Cancer, Skin Disease, a debilitating Spider Bite, requirement for a lung transplant, addiction to Vicodin, nervous exhaustion and to top it all complications in his cosmetic surgery. We know there were rumours that body doubles may be used to do alot of the "leg" work in his performances, how do we know...the real MJ has died??? Maybe this is a huge conspiracy and it is fake??!! you never know...it all seems surreal to me. Has anybody seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oW0kxMUQ8co its good viewing and i can only say...look for yourself!!! im not saying its definately true but to be honest i wouldn't blame Jacko for faking his own death...can you?!! Ihave read some different opinions for and against this video clip and i don't know maybe its true maybe it is'nt...but there is certainly alot of doubt surrounding it all and it must come from somewhere...can it really all be "tabloid junk?"

Ebay - what do I think!
Now Ebay...love it or hate it??
Well I admit i buy off Ebay on the occasion but actually i think i hate it more than like it. It aggravates me how much Ebay make off every single purchase plus they charge to put the item on then don't forget if you want to pay by Paypal...yes that is charged too. If you want an Ebay shop this costs on top of any theme you want your shop to be...which yes they charge extra per item you put on for this....! Im sure there is a way of making money on there, there must...i mean there are so many business's that reley on the sales through Ebay...i just have never been successful with it. I have personally put on bits and pieces and sold about 3 items out of my many that i have listed...what a waste of time i thought...but i didnt learn!
Now lets look at what you can buy....everything basically. You can even sell your car on Ebay, is this safe?? im not too sure i have never done this but i guess it is like buying off Autotrader however you have to visit the car before you place a bid and to be honest i dont like that sort of pressure...plus they always seem to be miles away! On this note i would like to say i had my car on Autotrader, and i got not 1 person interested even though it was a very good deal. All i got were emails from people who wanted to post me a Bankers Cheque...can you beleive it POST one to me for the value of the car then get there shippers to pick the car up! Dodgy i hear you cry...errr just a little. Apparently it is a big scam, these people forge BD send them to you, you bank them they clear however a week or so later the bank rings you and says "im sorry this was forged we are taking the money back off you!!" and yes there are many many people that fall for it...i must admit i was close, i couldn't see how they could fake it. Anyway please don't be fooled, they sometimes even send you a bigger cheque and ask you to draw the balance out and give this to the shipper...and then they have done you for more than even your car was worth!!! my advice is to NOT put your email address on your ad...people that are genuinely interested WILL phone you not email.
Anyway back to Ebay, why is it when you wanna sell something nobody is interested, but when you are they buyer you buy all sorts of junk!! well thats what i do anyway...i get drawn in and think its a great deal...and never look at postage...doh! And then theres the dodgy buyers...sending fake payments through paypal then we send the item and low and behold you realise they have sent you a forged receipt from Paypal!!! be very careful people...especially when selling mobile phones ipods etc!
So yes i hate Ebay purely for the rats they attract but unfortunately sometimes i can't resist the odd purchase but i know 1 thing is that i will check the postage, i will think to myself is this just worthless junk and i will make sure it is a reputable company not selling fraudulent goods.

What does everyone think of X Factor this year??
X Factor started on Saturday with the all new format, live audiences in the auditions, so what do we think??
Personally i really liked it, it gave a better atmosphere and i would say the only downside really is that if you're a bad singer you are embarressing yourself in front of all those people and you cant hide behind the camera crew.
I do think though that X factor and those sorts of shows now are just so rigged...I mean they drag through the rubbish singers just to make good tv. There are at least 2 auditions before they go in front of those all important judges, and i think that is so unfair, and they wonder why some of these awful singers have confidence....tut tut.
Now for the judges, we have Simon Cowell (Mr Nasty) who is a very successful man with well bad hair (what is that all about!! ) but do people respect him, yes! I think hes the one everyone listens to even if he is a bit harsh to "Mr Out of Tune" he is quite funny and the show would definatey not be the same without him.
Louis Walsh...well what can we say the litte Irish Tinker!! I love Louis he is just so cute and funny. Simon always ribs him about being Irish and loving Weslife and Westlife only style groups/singers but i think hes great...hes got a great ear for people and lets face it would he have got where he is today if he was useless...I dont think so personally! Bring on the Walsh!!!
Danni Minogue, now Danni is great i used to think shes riding on Kylies fame a little with no talent herself...but i do like her. She is definately very likable and nice, im not sure about talent spotting and her abilities there but seems to have a good ear for it. Unfortunately she seems to be very much over shadowed by Cheryl, and i reckon that really gets to her!
Now Cheryl, i really like Cheryl...she can be annoying but in a really nice way. She comes accross very naive which is endearing. Whenever i think of her i think "My little Diana Vickers" in her Jordy accent. She did do very well last year but by far she had the best group, the others didnt have a chance against her lot! What ever happened to Laura White...she was my fave :-(
Anyway lets hope this year is gonna be full of talent like last year...and lets hope there is plenty of scandal because we LOVE it!!

My First Post!!
Hello, this is my first ever blog post on here and i'm wondering what it should be!!
Well i'll start with a little bit about me....I'm 26 years old named Lauren i have two children one Liam who is 8 and the other Scarlett who is 4 months, quite a big age gap i know...but there are major pro's on this i beleive. For one he can babysit sooner, helllooooo does there need to be anymore good points..!!!
I am currently on maternity leave and NOT looking forward to going back to work, but with a major mortgage and a desire to shop theres no way im ever gonna be able to not work :-( oh well...theres good things about working...like the money?! And i guess if you push me sometimes the people are worth going there for!
On another note i have just put down the balance of our new car today should be ready to be picked up on Friday morning...wooo hoooo!! We have decided as my partner Dean has a new job in London and no need for a car in the week, to go down to just the 1 car so we have gone for a Vauxhall Zafira. Its lovely to drive really smooth I have been used to an Audi A3 and although a nice enough car fairly heavy for little ol me!! Could I sell it...er nooooo...current climate and all that there was no way my little car was gonna sell. So ended up part exchanging it for nowhere near what its worth...oh well im just too excited about getting a newer smoother car to worry about it!!
Had pizza for dinner it was lovely...not chuck in the over freezer pizzas or Pizza Hut Delivery type either...much much better!
Recipe for the day
1 Tortilla
Passata (chopped tomatos if you prefer)
Cheese (chedder works best)
Oragano
Any toppings you wish i like : Mushroom/Sweetcorn and Pineapple
Place the tortilla on a baking sheet
Spoon over the Passata (or tomato based item) and spread all over
Sprinkle some Oragano
Place the Cheese on top
Add any toppings and bake in the oven for 10 minues, I like to grill afterwards for a few minutes to give it that extra sizzle!!
NOTE - you can also once all topping is on fold to make a Calzone and bake just the same.
Perfecto!
Tonights events include having a few glasses of Vino of the Pinot variety and possibly avoiding the football that ive just found out is on...great its THAT season again!!
